Jonathan is a freelance musician with a specialty in piano and voice. Raised with a classical ear, Jonathan was trained by the distinguished pianist Izabella Vilensky and earned high honors from the Michigan Music Teachers Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association, and Schoolcraft College student music competitions. As a non-major pianist, Jonathan regularly accompanied college students and served on the leadership board of the musical fraternity Mu Alpha.
Jonathan is currently active in Washington’s vibrant musical community as a member of the Choral Arts Society of Washington, with frequent appearances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Inspired to pursue voice in college, Jonathan became an active leader in the Hillsdale College chamber choir, student choir, and musical theatre community. He has sung the National Anthem in front of hundreds at CPAC and was chosen to perform a solo in Hillsdale College’s 2016 production of Handel’s “Messiah.” In 2019, Jonathan joined the Barbershop Harmony Society’s DC chapter to sing the National Anthem in front of thousands of fans at the Nationals stadium.
Jonathan works in the consulting sector and resides in the greater Washington DC area.
